Have seen a couple in the wild and like them, only thing I’m not sure of is the upturn of the body over the back wheel well. Would think it would be better with the body following the body line at the bottom of the side door windows.

from where it was, every change was an improvement.
It looks better in person, there’s a lot of small details on it:

much better than this...
becoming this...

When the first one came out Europe loved it.
It looked like a luxury car and was not expensive. I remember when I saw my first one.

Its the best thing that could have happened to the Murano. I’m not saying its a good car or pretty...but aside from fire...this is the best thing that could have happened to that car.

Improving from an F to a C doesn’t make something great though.

And it all started as this

It’s now passing grade, which is enough for some.
And it’s nice from the inside, it rides well, its got decent power...

The 2nd gen was conservative, where both the 1st and 3rd gen are out there stylewise (at the time)

My fiance and I were just discussing this the other when we were behind a fresh off the lot “Pathfinder.” What a shame.

You give it a C? I would have gone with D.

A shame indeed. i feel like i grew up in pathfinders. my mom got her first back in ‘87 or so when i was just a wee kid. and then another in early 90’s... very similar to the black one above. that car became my brother’s when he got his license. (stopped keeping count of the number of girls i made out with in the back seat as he drove us around.)
she then one of the mid-90’s versions that i thought were even too feminine... then she really butched out and got an x-terra... before turning proper old lady and going for the lexus rx.

We didn’t have D at my school, just ABCF

My uncle had an early 90’s one as well. I always loved it. I get a little nauseous when I see new Pathfinders now.

We had ABCDF when I was in high school, which was the early 2000s
My younger brother is currently in high school and these days teachers can’t even give you anything less than a 30% in the course.

I think an even bigger transformation is this:
